  • PRAYER SUPPORT: Be aware of prayer requests and pray regularly. Training required: none.

  • APARTMENT PREP, facility: Minor repairs, painting, moving large furniture items. Training required: minimal.

  • APARTMENT PREP, furnishings: Gather household necessities such as basic kitchen equipment/supplies, linens, cleaning supplies, food staples. Find items at stores and resale shops. Training required: minimal.

  • TRANSPORTATION: Assist clients with getting to appointments, work, school, etc. Training required: minimal. Clean driving record and background check required.

  • CHILDCARE: Assist clients with childcare on an occasional basis, in an approved location. Training required: Safe Haven/Daffodil training. Background check required.

  • ·MENTOR TO WOMEN/MOTHERS: Regular (at least weekly) time with an adult client, providing support, encouragement, friendship, and assistance as appropriate. Training required: Safe Haven/Daffodil training. Background check required.

  • MENTOR TO CHILD: Regular (at least weekly) time with minor children in the program, providing support, encouragement, friendship, and assistance as appropriate. Training required: Safe Haven/Daffodil training. Background check required.

  • FINANCIAL MENTOR: Assist clients, individually or possibly as a group, with understanding basic finances, budgeting, spending. Training required: Safe Haven/Daffodil training. Background check required if meeting individually..
